“Istmesoojendus” special: an in-depth talk about microcars
In this special episode of the car show “Istmesoojendus” we talk about microcars – or moped cars, or quadricycles, because as it turns out, all of these terms are correct. The guest is Kaido Veensalu, CEO of Camex Kaubandus. First we clear up the terminology: what defines a microcar? What is the L6e class and what requirements apply? Who is allowed to drive them? Then a bit of “teasing” – common prejudices about microcars: do they lose their purpose once the driver gets a B licence? What about safety? Will traffic become more chaotic as more people who have never studied the traffic rules get behind the wheel? Next, the microcar market: who produces the most, and where are things heading? How many moped cars are bought in Estonia? And what kind of vehicle is the Eli Zero? Both hosts got to drive it and share their impressions. The studio guests were car journalists Veli V. Rajasaar and Indrek Jakobson and Kaido Veensalu, CEO of Camex Kaubandus OÜ. Show in Estonian.
